Grand Isle is the proud winner of the 2008,2009 & 2010 New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival. In a city known for its eclectic and exquisite cuisine, the prestigious Po-Boy Preservation Festival is the third largest foodie festival in New Orleans and widely attended by locals. Considering how many fine Po-Boys are made in this city, a Po-Boy Preservation Festival Award is a top New Orleans honor.

2009: Best of Show (1st Place) Shrimp Caminada Po-Boy. A mouthwatering Po-Boy made with spicy citrus butter, Asian herb slaw and pounds of the freshest shrimp. The Atlantic Monthly called Grand Isle’s Shrimp Caminada Po-Boy “a flavor machine.”

2008: Best Specialty Seafood Category: Grand Isle’s Alligator Sausage Po Boy. In a city known for both its seafood and its Po-Boys, is it any wonder that we are doubly proud for taking home the prize for Best Seafood Po-Boy?
